Hi girls!
I wanted to do a fun topic this week and give some ideas on what to wear for a graduation! Next week I’m going to California for my cousins high school graduation! It took me awhile to figure out what to wear, so I thought I would share with you! It is that time of the year again for graduations whether it’s high school or college so I wanted to share you my ideas incase you had trouble like me!
I am so excited to dress up again because I really have not dressed up that much the past two years because of the pandemic! Now that it is starting to become more normal and gradations are happening again, it is still stressful to figure out what to wear!
The first outfit I want to share with you guys is actually the dress I am wearing to my cousins graduation. This is a Lilly Pulitzer dress and the colors are so pretty and perfect for spring and summer! I got this dress awhile back ago in 2019. It was one of Target’s collaborations with top designers and Lilly was one of them! I honestly never got the chance to wear this dress because I got it at the end of 2019 and then the pandemic happen! So I am so excited to be able to wear this dress, the dress was originally for another graduation I was suppose to go to in 2020 which never happen! Now I am glad that this year I get a chance to wear it!
I am not sure what it is but you can never go wrong with a white dress. I love white dresses for summer and this one is so cool and lightweight that I do not get that hot in them. This one also has lace which I thought was so pretty and it has lining underneath so it is not see through. I also like white because it can go with any accessories like any color jackets, scarfs, headbands… you name it. It is so easy to dress up a white dress and pair it with anything you like.
The last dress we are going to talk about is this pretty long maxi type dress. I think they are really pretty to wear to graduations as well. I’ve had this one for while and I actually wore this back when my brother graduated high school. I like how cool they are as well and this dress has an open back which I thought was so cute. Not only that but you are not hot in this dress at all. In Texas it gets so hot here at the end of the spring season because it is near summer. So having a dress that’s cooler is a must have!
